375/City mark Chester/year mark x/Master mark TR&S hallmarked, gold dust cover. Ø 5 cm. 94 g.
"Thos Russell & Son Liverpool" marked Swiss steel movement with broad decorative stripes, lever escapement, blued Breguet balance spring, screw compensation balance, jewels, crown winding. Functional in a short-term test. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, minute ring, small seconds and Louis XV hands, inscribed "Tempus Fugit" among others. Smooth sprung lid case with small, domed glass insert and black enameled outer chapter ring. Slight signs of age and wear, scratches and dents in places, cloudy dial glass.
