Elegant gold key pocket watch with watch chain.
Circa 1840/50. Case No. 358.
Unmarked bridge movement with cylinder escapement, tire balance, keywind. Functional in short time test. Lavishly chased and gilded dial with a three-colored floral wreath, Roman numerals, minute ring and spade hands.
18k gold tested, master's mark CL hallmarked, engraved and gilded dust cover. Watch Ø 4.7 cm, chain L 37 cm. Watch 48 g, chain 4 g.
Flat lepine case with guilloché back cover and floral relief borders. On a fine gold-plated link chain with a small lobster clasp and spring ring. Back cover with a small dent, minute hand replaced.
With 1 key and pouch.
