Lacquered wood, metals (copper and brass), horn. From max. approx. 9.5 x 5.0 x 2.3 cm to 17.0 x 11.5 x 8.8 cm. Together 0.9 kg.
Historical sewing kit with monogrammed lid label "EB", inside with mirror and removable base. The sewing utensils are attached to a removable false bottom with trimmings on green velvet. An elongated oval box with a light cartouche on top, an elongated brass box with a copper anchor on top, and 2 horn snuff boxes with brass fittings. Slight signs of age and wear; partly patinated, dents in the metal, dry cracks in the lacquer veneer of the necessaire, lock without key, corners partly chipped, mirror inside with signs of age.
