Imitation bandage mark, 2nd half 19th century
Polychrome painted, decorated with gold. H 27 cm.
Ovoid body with two scrolled handles, pommel lid and round foot, on a square base. Cobalt blue background with rich ornamental and vegetal gold painting, partly in relief. Mythological motifs on the body against a gold background, inscribed on the underside "Venus bei Vulkan" and "Die drei Gratien". Lid restored.
