Patinated bronze. Inscribed, foundry mark "E. Tassel", in the base front "Salon de 1881". Overall 55 x 30 x 30 cm. 24.2 kg.
Sitting mother bending lovingly towards her naked child on her lap. Patina somewhat rubbed in places, minor nicks to the bronze plinth.
