White, red and pink roses next to a ceramic pot on the floor. Canvas doubled.
Still life and flower painter, exhibited at the Salon from 1860, pupil of Vencelet. He was a member of the "Society of Flower Painters in France" and later became its president. All lots with a limit (starting price) of at least €2,000 are checked against the Art Loss Register database.
