* Godchaux, French landscape painter, mainly active in Paris and Pau, Pyrénée-Atlantiques, presumably related to Emile Godchaux, due to the same painting themes the painters are often confused, according to Schnurr (1989) even the possibility of Emile Godchaux's identity with Alfred Godchaux cannot be ruled out.
