Presumably a proof before the edition of 50, one of the artist's largest lithographic works. Passepartout, without frame. Margins mounted on passepartout, wavy, one crease on the side.
* Corinth, painter, etcher and lithographer, studied at the academies in Königsberg and Munich as well as at the Académie Julian in Paris. Based in Berlin since 1901. Alongside Slevogt and Liebermann, one of the main pillars of the Berlin Secession. president of the Berlin Secession in 1911, professor at the Academy in Berlin in 1918, honorary member of the Munich Academy.
