In passepartout and glazed Art Nouveau frame. Partially wavy, slight creases to lower corner, frame partially defective.
* Christiansen, painter, graphic artist, applied artist, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich and at the Académie Julian in Paris. 1899-1902 member and professor of the Darmstadt artists' colony, then worked in Paris. Since 1911 lecturer at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Wiesbaden, one of the main masters of German Art Nouveau.
