Height: 25 cm.
Joseph Fröhlich (1694-1757), court jester to Augustus the Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland. "Baron" Gottfried Schmiedel (1700-1756), travel, postal and hunting courier, second court jester at the Saxon-Polish court in Dresden. Painted in color, decorated in gold. Incised mark, impressed mark, painter's mark, sword mark. Leaves, hat with trimming by Fröhlich, hands restored by Schmiedel with radish.
* Kaendler (1706-1775), court sculptor and modeller, at the Meissen manufactory from 1731, head of the sculpture department from 1749.
