Goat's head in profile, design 1950. edition of 50. Glazed white, painted in brown and green. Rounded square shape at the corners. Stamped Empreinte Originale de Picasso, Madoura Plein Feu. Minimal, small glaze defects to the rim, one glaze stain repaired to the reverse.
* Picasso, actually Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, painter, graphic artist and sculptor, studied in Barcelona and Madrid. Based in Paris since 1904, he is considered the epitome of the modern artist, used various styles and was one of the most important artists of the 20th century.
