Sceptre mark, circa 1820/30. Without painter's mark.
Polychrome painted, decorated in gold. Cup (h 13.5 cm), original saucer (Ø 18.5 cm).
Cylinder cup with crater rim, rosette handle and three paw feet. Matt blue ground and borders of gold etched lancet leaves, on the front a rectangular cartouche with the portrait of a gentleman in uniform, probably Count Neidhardt von Gneisenau (1760-1831). Saucer with minimal paint wear.
