Glazed blackened frame with gilded stucco moldings.
* Pellar, portrait and genre painter, miniature painter, illustrator, studied at the Academy in Vienna, master student of Franz von Stuck in Munich from 1906, appointed to the Darmstadt artists' colony in 1912, painted depictions of an overwrought, capricious rococo world under the nickname "Painter of Elegance".
