* Kimbel, interior designer, cabinetmaker, watercolorist, son and pupil of Martin Kimbel, court draughtsman to Kaiser Wilhelm II. 1889-1894 active in America, founded the firm Kimbel & Friedrichsen in Berlin in 1897, became one of the leading interior designers in the capital, received various awards, since 1933 based in Zehdenick, north of Berlin.
