Silver goblet next to a figural candlestick on a thick folio in front of a relief draped with fabric next to palm fronds. Traces of age.
German painter, graphic artist, drawing teacher and illustrator, studied at the Städel in Frankfurt under Hasselhorst and Steinle, member of the Kronberg painters' colony, later studied at the Düsseldorf Academy. Co-founder of the Berlin Secession.
