Standing woman with laurel wreath
Alabaster, probably onyx. inscribed "Del Colombo". H 91 cm. 42.90 kg.
On a rectangular plinth, a young, striding woman in an antique-style robe and hair crowned with laurel. She looks up to the sky and holds her hands stirring in front of her chest. Signs of age and wear, chipped laurel, chips and scratches to body and robe, base chipped.
If it should be Gaudenzio Colombo, then: Italian sculptor, active at the end of the 19th century.
