Large iconic Art Nouveau mosaic wall relief with three women. Viennese manufactory Friedrich Goldscheider
Press mark GS 7, ca. 1895-1910, with the addition "Reproduction reservée" and patent reference. Signed "Lesca" at bottom right. Model no. 01080 17 27 (under the model no. none or a different indication in the GS factory directory). Light body, decorated in color and gold. Approx. 60 x 122.5 cm.
Transverse rectangular wall relief panel in imitation mosaic with a central arch segment filled in mosaic and three figures. In the center, a stone-colored Art Nouveau female figure in profile, with outstretched arms and a palm leaf spanning the arch, laurel branches in the spandrels. In the lower left corner an antique-style bust of a woman, in the lower right corner a religious female figure with a green veil. Slight traces of age, slightly retouched in the margin.
