Press mark GS 4a, ca. 1887 to 1897, with the addition "Gesetzlich geschützt". Signed "Montenave" at the bottom right of the picture. Model no. 930 19 28. design: MONTENAVE (dates of life unknown).
Light body, matt glaze in shades of brown. Approx. 69 x 102 cm.
Transverse rectangular bas-relief with a lady in profile leaning on a book, in front of a landscape. Carved, mahogany-stained beech wood frame. Light glaze rubbing, partial scratches.
