Art Nouveau terracotta female figure "Caprieserin". Viennese manufactory Friedrich Goldscheider.
Relief mark GS 13 Sculpture, 1900-1920, with the addition "Fabriqué en Autriche". Around 1898/99, incised "E. Tell" on the base. Model no. 1656 1084 11.
Light body, light stoneware-coloured matt glaze and coloured in shades of brown and green. H approx. 44 cm.
Young peasant woman with a large hat, bucket and jug fetching water, on an oval base. Head glued, small glaze defects in places.
