Patinated bronze, marble, marble base. inscribed "G. v. Vaerenbergh". H 52 cm / 42.5 cm. 15.50 kg.
Portrait of a young woman with a lily on a tiara. Patina slightly rubbed, possibly casting defects or corrosion on the back, base minimally chipped.
If it should be Gustave Van Vaerenbergh, then: Belgian sculptor (1873 Ghent - 1927 Schaerbeck), especially known for his busts of women and children.
