2 Art Nouveau terracotta figures "En Moisson par F. Foucher". Fontaine & Durieux, Paris
Circa 1900. Verso press mark and inscribed "Fabrication francaise" and "terre cuite [au] feu". Model no. 687, incised "F. Foucher" on the base. Red earthenware, painted in matt colors. H 38 cm and 39 cm.
Pair of figures standing farmer and farmer's wife with agricultural tools, on a square natural base with bundles of grain, each inscribed with brass plaque "En Moisson" (At the grain harvest). Slight glaze wear.
