Large Art Nouveau terracotta bust "Epicurean". Viennese manufactory Friedrich Goldscheider.
GS 8a, ca. 1895-1898. ca. 1897/98. model no. 1075 50.
Light body, bronze-coloured matt glaze in shades of brown, colourfully painted. H approx. 57 cm.
Antique-style bust of a lounging man with an ivy wreath in his hair, on a round column with plinth and square base. Partially restored on the leaves, slight glaze rubbing and chipping.
