* Tinguely, Swiss painter and sculptor of Nouveau Réalisme, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Basel. Resident in Paris since 1953, married Niki de Saint Phalle in 1971, represented at international exhibitions. in 1996, a Tinguely Museum was opened in Basel, one of the main representatives of kinetic art.
