Painted in color, gold painted, impressed marks, blue fox marks, one grind mark, artist's signet, dated once: 1931. One small finger chipped.
* Meisel, sculptor, modeller, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich, 1909-1936 freelancer for the Aelteste Volkstedter porcelain manufactory, 1937-1945 for the Rosenthal porcelain manufactory, then worked for Thuringian manufactories, 1952-1958 director of the Heidecksburg museums in Rudolstadt.
