Height: 55-56.5 cm.
Painted in color. The figures were exhibited in Munich in 1925, in The Hague in 1931 and in Berlin in 1934, one pair is in the Badisches Landesmuseum in Karlsruhe, two pairs with different staffage in the Art Institute of Chicago. Press marks, one green bottom mark. Tobacco pipes missing.
* Wackerle, sculptor, painter, applied artist, draughtsman, studied at the academy in Munich, 1905-1909 at the Nymphenburg porcelain manufactory, subsequently worked as a freelancer, 1909-1917 taught in Berlin, 1917-1950 in Munich, from 1913 as a professor, received various awards * Nymphenburg manufactory price: 43,550 euros.
