Rare collector's item of a high-quality gold savonnette from the "Glocken-Union". Dürrstein & Co.

Switzerland. Late 19th century, marked "Union" with trademark "Glocke mit fünf Sternen", movement No. 48254, case No. 48254.

Marked, gilt three-quarter plate movement with lever escapement, blued Breguet balance spring and screws, screw compensation balance, swan-neck fine adjustment, screwed chatons, jewels, crown winder. Functional in the short-term test. White enamel dial with recessed center, Arabic numerals, minute ring, small seconds and Louis XV hands.

Hallmarked 585, Swiss hallmark, hallmark of fineness, company mark, gold dust cover and additional glass dust cover. Ø 5.4 cm. 120 g.

Smooth spring lid case with ligated monogram WS. Slight signs of age and wear, slightly dented on the rim.
