Exceptional gold ladies' pocket watch with split spring lid.
Circa 1870/80. Case No. 11528.
Unmarked bridge movement with cylinder escapement, blued Breguet balance spring, tire balance, 10 jewels, crown winder. Functional in short-term test. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, minute ring and gold lyre hands.
18 k hallmarked, gold dust cover. Ø 3.7 cm. 41 g.
Finely chased spring lid case with regular floral pattern and "AK" monogrammed coat of arms reserve, outer lid each with curved center bar, front lid split and opening.
