69 x 54 cm. Framed : 72 x 57 cm.
Dated in two colors: 16 3 06, inscribed on old sticker on the reverse, dated: 1906, plain gold border. Paint chipped on the sides, in need of restoration.
* Feldbauer, (Maximilian), painter, draughtsman, illustrator and graphic artist, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule and academy in Munich and at Simon Hollosy's private academy, worked as a freelancer from 1894. Contributor to the magazine "Jugend", member of the artists' association "Scholle" alongside Edward Cucuel, Leo Putz and others. 1901-1905 taught at the Damen-Akademie in Munich, 1912-1922 own painting school in Dachau, 1918-1934 professor at the academy in Dresden. Member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund and the Munich Secession, works in numerous German museums.
