36 cards. Manufacturer: Cajetan Göbl (Munich). The Bavarian “Einfachbild” (often also referred to as the “Old Bavarian design”) are traditional German playing cards closely associated with the Munich cardmaker Andreas Benedict Göbl (ancestor of Cajetan Göbl). This deck was used for Haferl-Tarock or Schafkopf. The face cards depict genre scenes from everyday life in the Alpine region. 8 of Hearts with tax stamp “4 Kreuzer Upper Bavaria”.
