Night Watchman's Watch.
Watch diameter: 8.5 cm. 620 g.
So-called night watchman’s watch for recording duty hours: The watch was sealed so that the wearer could not tamper with it. At specific checkpoints in the patrol area, a key stored there had to be inserted into the clock, which triggered a mechanism that marked the inserted paper disc accordingly. Overall, shows significant signs of age and wear; functionality not tested; one dent on the inner rim; one key likely added later; neither key appears to fit.

Call time: Oct. 28, 2026 | estimated 4:51 p.m. (CET)
