Pencil and pen drawings, with watercolor highlights. Four sheets signed by Paul Klimsch, some with place names and dates.
Various dimensions ranging from 40.5 x 49.5 cm to 46.5 x 52 cm.
Collection consisting of: Three sheets with genre scenes or individual depictions by Paul Klimsch; sheet “Man with a Horse-Drawn Cart on the Coast,” without signature; sheet “Elephant with Glasses at the Zoo,” without signature; sheet painted on both sides (front: “two men at the piano,” back: “three women on a bench, looking after a fourth woman”), indistinctly signed on the front. Signs of age and wear.
About Klimsch: Landscape and animal painter as well as illustrator; studied at the Karlsruhe Academy; later based in Munich.
