Historic portal clock with pilasters.

Portal clock with string suspension from the Early Classical period, featuring rich, fire-gilded floral ornamentation on a marble base. The silver-plated dial features a minute track, Roman numerals, and Breguet hands. Functional testing is currently not possible, as the movement requires readjustment within the case. One column is slightly loose; the glass on the back appears to have been replaced more recently; the dial shows traces of dust and wear; the gilding is slightly worn in places; one of the hands has slight chipping of the paint; and there is minimal chipping on the edges of the marble.
