Late Baroque grandfather clock.
Around 1800.
brass wheel movement with Graham gear and hour strike on bell, running. Dial with bronzed corner appliqués, Roman hours and Arabic minutes, minute circle, small seconds, inner date display, curved brass hands, inscribed "Dannenberger in Prenzlau" in the arc field.
Oak and other woods, two-tone strap inlays and star motif. Approx. 245 x 50 x 28 cm.
Cambered base, long pendulum case and front-glazed top with curved pediment. Slight signs of age and wear, partial defects and imperfections to the case, top door fitting and 1 side door missing.
Pendulum, crank, 2 weights, gut and plastic rope, 1 case key.
