15th /16th century Dubrovnik(?), Venice(?) or Spain(?).
Bronze hallmarked. H 21.5 cm, Ø 21.5 cm.
In one piece cast foot and shaft similar to a late Gothic disc chandelier. Probably hard soldered shallow bowl with profiled rim. Foot and bowl with exceedingly rich ornamental hallmarking in the Islamic style. Possibly used in the Eucharist of the Eastern Church bowl for the changed bread or oriental pastry bowl.
