Snake handle vase with cobalt background. Meissen.
Pommel swords, from 1850-1918, 1st choice. Model no: G 59. design: 1781. Beauty, Johann Carl(1730 Meissen - 1805 Meissen)
Polychrome painted, gold decorated. H 30 cm.
Ovoid body with two serpentine handles, foliate pommel lid and round base, on square plinth. On both sides a quatrefoil cartouche framed by gold engraved gold rocailles, within each a finely painted mythological scene. Plinthe restored, restoration on the rim of the body.
