After the altar painting by Titian for the church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo in Venice, completed in 1530, destroyed by fire in 1867. In the place of the original there is today a copy by Johann Carl Loth. Copper engravings also bear witness to the famous painting. Richly detailed, partially fully sculptured carving. White-gold framed profile frame. Two hands, three forearms of the lower figures slightly restored.
