Tempera/painting cardboard. Monogrammed lower left, verso inscribed/titled/dated: 1902 - 1905 with provenance note and restoration note (carried out by Hugo Gugg himself). Dated: 1905.

Main work with large, lush green landscape and little girl on wide meadow under large tree. Traces of age, paint chips.
Painter in Leipzig and Saaleck, student and later teacher at the painting school of Prof. Schultze-Naumburg in Saaleck, from 1921.
Head of the landscape class in Weimar as successor to Theodor Hagen.
