Biedermeier miniature: portrait of a gentleman with monogram on the back.
Early 19th century
Metal with gold-colored coating, glass, gouache. 5,5 x 4,5 cm (measured without eyelet).
Miniature worked as a pendant glazed on both sides with the bust portrait of a young man; on the verso gold-colored monogram "H" over blue silk. Overlay tarnished, small chips on the glass.
