1 insert weight stork mark with monogram "ZA" for Zacharias Abend. 16th-19th c.
Bronze, brass, iron. H mortar 12 cm, lion head 15 x 13 cm, H goblet 6,5 cm. H insert weight 4 cm. Together 4,0 kg.
Indistinctly marked on the bottom mortar probably 16th century with fine profiling and angular handles. / Door puller lion head mask probably 17th c. / Small goblet (calix viaticus?) with fluted decoration and hatching pattern probably 18th c. / Baroque insert weight by Zacharias Abend for Leipzig (1 pound) with 7 inserts. / Insert weight "1/2 pound 1856 Crossen" with eagle mark and 4 inserts. / Iron light cleaning scissors. Hinge and closure Leipzig pound provisionally repaired, 1/2 quent missing. / Missing inserts at the Crossener weight. / Ring door puller missing. / Hinge light cleaning scissors defective. / Each age-use marks.
Zacharias Abend was a weight maker in Nuremberg and was active until 1745.
