Sitting female nude ("Femme assise")
Bronze patinated, white marble plinth. After 1985. inscribed, foundry mark Royal Art Collection with count "22/299". H 47 / 51 cm. 16 kg.
Limited later version of the female nude sitting on a stele in figurine-like design. Slightly corroded, slightly rubbed.
Pupil of Rodin, later of Maillol. His sculpture "Femme assise" is one of his major works, along with the sculpture "Le cheval", also created in 1914.
