Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler 1764. Colorfully painted, gold painted. Incised mark, press mark, painter's mark, sword mark. A little bow glued.
Inscription on the jug: Z is for Zanni, a character of the Commedia dell'arte. M stands for Joseph Ferdinand Müller, Royal Polish and Electoral Saxon court comedian who arrived in Dresden in 1738. Meissen manufactory price: 4990, - Euro * Partner auction Bergmann.
