Model by Johann Christian Hirt 1880-1882. painted in color. Incised mark, press mark, painter's mark, sword mark, artist's signet. An acorns, leaves, muzzle, one ear restored, two burn cracks in the knit.

Hirt, sculptor, studied at the Academy in München. He became popular for his figures from poetry and mythology. Meissen acquired a total of 50 models in 1881-1888 * partner auction Bergmann.
