Small rosewood chest.
Anglo-Indian, early 20th century
Macassar ebony or solid rosewood, brass fittings. 25 x 50 x 27 cm. 5.8 kg.
Massive casket with carrying handles and corner fittings. Ornamental cassettes in the front and on the hinged lid. Inside compartments and removable tray as access to the lower compartment. Numerous sewing utensils, including a small pearl embroidery. Lightly warped lid, hardly any signs of age/use.
