Neoclassical table clock.
Probably England. 19th century
Movement with hour strike on bell, pendulum with thread suspension. Functional in short time test. Glazed, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and spear hands.
Rootwood veneered, stained brown-red, partly ebonized. White alabaster, bronze. H 34.5 cm. 1.8 kg.
Straight stele shape with urn finial, lateral lion mascarons with ring handles, floral decorative fittings and 4 high paw feet on a plinth with pressed ball feet. Lateral cable pull for hour repeater. Signs of age and wear, some slight defects, traces of soldering, replacements.
With pendulum and key.
