Imposing Art Nouveau mantel clock with mythological figure group "Ursus".
Distinctly stamped "Reproduction reservée" and "Made in Austria". Around 1900, indistinctly signed and dated on the base. Model no. 1199 5.
Plaster, bronze-colored matt glaze in shades of brown, partly bronzed in gold. Approx. 53 x 65 x 31 cm.
Curved plinth with antique-style figure frieze and lateral lion mascarons, crowned by a flat natural plinth marked "Ursus" with a battle scene between the young warrior Ursus and the bull with a bound girl. Base with Art Nouveau dial, 1 hand missing, movement defective. Slight signs of age and wear, restored, partly cracked.
