Gardereiter officer's pallash - modification, with scabbard.
Blade marked: Königskopf (Solingen). Saxony.
Blade L 87 cm, total L 101 cm.
Straight, single-edged blade with a fuller, long fuller and the point in the midline. Broad ricasso, marked there. Brass hilt, double-edged with a crowned Saxon coat of arms on the hilt. Fish skin grip with finely worked lion's head, including the paws. Rivet with star-shaped screw slots. The guard plate is heart-shaped and curved, with palmette finials and a thumb ring. "Frhr. von Seebach" on the back of the grip. Bright scabbard with two rigid grip rings and a square loop.
