Cuirassier sabre.
Unclear lettering on the back of the blade "... Solingen". Around 1810, Saxony.
Blade L 88 cm, total L 104 cm.
Slightly curved, single-edged blade with a point in the middle and a narrow fuller on the back. Crowned monogram "FAR" on the ricasso, other side probably crowned coat of arms (plastered) above the ricasso. Lion's head grip covered with leather and wrapped with a beaded copper band. Four-bar basket with flat, crowned monogram "FAR". Blade with minor nicks.
