Infantry officer's sword 1867, with folding guard and black scabbard.
Blade marked "Eisenhauer Garantirt" (sic). 19th century. Saxony.
Blade L 73 cm, total L 90 cm.
Straight, double-edged, unsharpened blade with two narrow fullers to the point. Engraved crowned monogram "FAR" on one side. Brass hilt in relief with a coat of arms on the pommel and guard plate. Ribbed plastic grip with double wire winding. Black iron scabbard with a suspension ring. Lacquer finish of the scabbard somewhat scratched.
