Deer hunter for a Saxon forestry official.
Blade marked with two squirrels, back to back. On the back of the blade: "Hast & Uthoff", Dresden. Early 20th century. Saxony.
Blade L 41 cm, total L 57 cm.
Straight, single-edged blade with a point in the midline. Etched motifs of stag and wild boar hunting on both sides. The quillons are shaped like hooves. Saxon coat of arms in relief on the angled guard plate. Slightly curved stag horn grip with three acorn-shaped rivets. Black leather scabbard and holster with byknife. Green lanyard.
