Blade marked on the back: "J.J. Runkel Solingen". 1st half of the 18th century. Great Britain.
Blade L 82 cm, total L 99 cm.
Model 1796. Straight, single-edged blade with wide fuller, double-edged at the point. Half of the blade blued, with gilt engravings, including the British-Hanoverian coat of arms with the motto of the Order of the Garter. Other side crowned monogram "GR" for George I.
